Brian always says he doesn’t know why I love him because of the way he looks. And I tell him that looks don’t matter. And they don’t. But, honestly, I love him because of the way he looks. He’s taught me that things can’t be judged from the exterior. I love him for him, his sense of humor, fears, hopes, ability to make me feel good. And because of all that, I dont see his exterior the way others do. I see…a glow. He shines for me. His bright blue eyes pierce through me and make me shine, too. And that’s why I love him. I love him for his looks. Because, for me, they reflect the inside.
Any girl would have been lucky to discover that. And he would have fallen in love with any girl who did. But it wasn’t just any girl. It was me. Which I am so thankful for.
